Our Philosophy
At Kinder Lane Early Learning we follow the united nations conventions on the rights of a child. We believe that all children have the right to a safe and secure setting where they are empowered to grow and learn. As educators we feel by allowing our children a safe space where they are encouraged and supported, they are able to build a sense of belonging within our community. Kinder Lane is supportive and inclusive all of families and children from different cultures and backgrounds, we believe by opening our doors to all families we are enriching the lives of staff, children and their families.
Through open communication and building respectful, meaningful relationships with our families we are able to build on each family’s values and beliefs. These relationships are the core of what makes Kinder Lane so special- we understand what our families wants and needs are for their child, and we work together to implement these into our programmes and everyday learning.
Building trust, nurturing relationships
As educators we believe one of our biggest roles is to build trusting, nurturing relationships with our children. We are able to do this through open communication with the children, adapting and changing our routines and programs and helping them fulfill their needs & wants. At Kinder Lane we value our natural surroundings and help our children become more connected with the outside community- we believe that by allowing our children to explore in nature and with the wider community they are able to build on their sense of belonging and gain an understanding that we are all connected.
Our team at Kinder Lane is an integral part of our vision and service. We make it a point to support each other through open and honest communication, valuing each other’s feedback and opinions and listening to each other. We strive for continuity of learning, we are able to do this by understanding that we are lifelong learners who strive to always be better, understand more and empower each other to share and learn.
