Our Story
We are a brand new architecturally designed early learning centre created by parents, for families.
Having sent our 4 kids through day-care and preschool, we know firsthand that a safe and nurturing learning environment creates a solid foundation for the future health, development and well-being of a child’s life. We also know how important it is for parents and carers to feel confident in their choice of early learning centre.
We have worked hard for 4 years researching, consulting industry experts and collecting feedback so we could create the perfect space for your child to flourish and thrive. We are proud to introduce you to the Kinder Lane team below:
Anne Marie Holmes
Director
My Role at Kinder Lane is… I am the director of Kinder Lane and also the Nominated Supervisor.
I love my work because… I am committed and passionate about high quality Early Childhood Education, with the view that all children are capable learners who have the right to be listened to and valued. My vision is for a family orientated service, that empowers collaboration between staff, families and children. A service that includes cultural diversity and for all to strive to be the best they can be, and most importantly to have a service where there is fun and happiness.
Previously I....I have worked in the Early Childhood industry for the last 15 years, and have been a director across 2 centres for the past 4 years. I have worked across all rooms and understand the complexities and challenges that families and staff face.
Something many people might not know....I am a wife and mum of two, I have a 7 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. I love to spend time with my family and friends. One of my favourite things to do is go to really nice restaurants with my husband and enjoy some time together.

My Role at Kinder Lane is… I am working towards My Certificate 111 in early childhood.
I love my work because… I to watch the children grow and learn, and be a part of their learning,
Previously I.... Attended High School, and worked in an Early Learning Centre in Loftus
Something many people might not know…My parents own a farm in Tallong, I love to go down for long weekends and spend time with everyone.

My Role at Kinder Lane is…I am one of the educators within the babies’ room.
I love my work because… it is a rewarding job, and I love to see all the children grow into bright, independent learners.
Previously I....Worked in Wollongong in a centre for 2-5-year old’s, during my two years
within the service I completed my certificate 3 in early childhood education and care.
Something many people might not know...I danced for over 15 years and hold a certificate 3 in performing arts. During my time dancing, I danced competitively and also taught dance to under 10s.
Shania Wade

My Role at Kinder Lane is…I am the ECT for Kinder Lane and also the room leader of the toddler room.
I love my work because…I get to help develop and teach young children to be the best versions of themselves. I also enjoy working within a supportive team.
Previously I....I worked at another ELC for 5 years, during this time I was able to complete my cert 111, diploma and bachelor’s degree. My time at my pervious service allowed me to form my teaching philosophy.
Something many people might not know...I was named after the famous Shania Twain.

My Role at Kinder Lane is… Educator.
I love my work because… I find it rewarding to watch children grow and develop.
Previously I....Was a nanny, and a stay-at-home Mum!
Something many people might not know...I have 4 Beautiful daughters,
Sienna 15, Ellie 12, Taleah 10 and Zahli 7!!

My Role at Kinder Lane is…I am an educator within the Toddler room.
I love my work because…I get to watch children express themselves through their play and motivate and encourage children in all aspects of learning. I love that I am apart of the children’s development during the early years, which I see as one of the most important times of their lives.
Previously I....have worked at a long day care centre for over 7 years. During my time I have
been able to complete both my certificate 3 and diploma in early childhood education and care. Over the 7 years at my previous centre I have been able to create my beliefs and passions as an educator.
Something many people might not know... I am the oldest of two children, I have a younger brother. My family is extremely important to me and I love to spend time at home with them. I also love to travel and go on spontaneous adventures; my dream is to one day go to Disneyland!

My role at Kinder Lane is....Educational Leader
I love my work because... I can get to see how each child brings their own
uniqueness to my day and how they make me laugh and question the world I live in. I have been a teacher for almost 14 years and it is so much rewarding and never has a dull moment. Now, It can be stressful at times but what job isn’t? The best part is the joy on the faces when they learn new things and in the end you can look back and say I taught them that. That makes me feel wonderful. I also love the little things they say as it always puts a smile on my face because at this age they are so innocent and just down right honest.
Previously I...Worked at Macquarie University for 5 1/2 years
Something many people might not know....I have a two year old French Bulldog called Ramon and we are experiencing the terrible twos. I do not like cooking, but I am very good at Uber Eats. I am also studying my bachelor of education at University.

My Role at Kinder Lane is...I am the Room leader within the babies’ room.
I love my work because... I love when I am able to build connections and form relationships with a child and their family. There is nothing more special than being greeted with open arms and a smile, I also love to help children reach their goals and making core milestones.
Previously I....Worked in a centre in Miranda, during my two years within this service I completed my certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education, and also began my Diploma.
Something many people might not know...I recently got engaged! I used to be an acrobat for over 10 years.

My role at Kinder Lane is...I am an educator in the preschool room.
I love my work because....I love how rewarding being a childcare educator is. To be a part of a child‘s growth and development is awesome and I love seeing them grow and develop into the amazing little human’s they are. My passion for childcare continues to grow and i thrive on creating relationships with the children and inspiring them to become the happy successful learners of today.
Previously I...worked in a childcare in Miranda for 4 years before i went on an adventure of a lifetime and lives overseas. I have also just recently begun my Diploma in Children’s Services.
Something many people might not know....I lived in Canada for 18 months and worked as a nanny. I was able to see snow for the first time and learn how to snowboard!

My Role at Kinder Lane is… I am an Educator, and to support the children where I can.
I love my work because… I love getting to know the children I work with and watching them grow into strong independent learners who can do anything they put their minds to.
Previously I.... have worked in many centres, I have been a support worker, room assistant and room leader. I love to work at Kinder Lane as the staff are always having fun and have wonderful relationships with each other.
Something many people might not know…I am a big nerd at heart! I love dungeon’s and dragons and SIFI! I enjoy playing board games with my family and video games.
